Don Johnston and his team are not just your average real estate broker. They come with expertise in construction, finance, development, fix-and-flips, foreclosure relief, and statutory processes; he can even help with your remodel.
Not only is Don a Serviced Disabled Veteran, but he is certified by the National Association of Realtors® as an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Seller's Representative Specialist (SRS), Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), and e-PRO®.
After learning he enjoyed building houses as a young man, Don Johnston's career began with the Army Corps of Engineers in 1994. He helped build medical clinics, schools, and other infrastructure at home in the United States and worldwide. He finished that part of his life helping to manage infrastructure rebuilding with US Army Special Operations.
In 2005, he started to sell properties in Manhattan, New York. Although successful, he enjoyed capital markets and obtained his Series 7 license in 2006 for a job trading institutional equities. The next adventure was combining construction, real estate, and equity. Thus, he acquired small retail properties and operated as a franchisee for the #1 franchisor in 2009.
During that time, acquaintances, friends, family, and—most notably—military veterans started to request Don's advice and ongoing consulting to guide them in their business ventures.
Don exited his franchise holdings and focused 100% of his time on helping people make and save money in real estate. Whether a home, investment, existing business, or a new startup, Don is passionate about helping his clients achieve their goals.
